IRVINE, Calif. – Dominican women's soccer fell 1-0 Thursday in a tightly contested game with Concordia University Irvine at Eagles Field.

Senior goalkeeper
Jaqueline Catano finished with five saves on the day for Dominican with her counterpart, Hailey Asato making four saves.
The Eagles got off to a strong start as Jadenn Carrillo and Carmany Jones had two chances on goal in the second minute with

Olivia Ocampo had the breakthrough goal as Gabrielle Breton played a ball inside the box out to her on the right flank and she sent a high, curling shot inside the back post for the 1-0 lead in the 42nd minute.
