After a 3-pointer made by Chris Williams II made the score 9-5, the Silverswords went on another 10-point run as Dominican found themselves down by 20 points with 8:18 left in the half. A free throw made by Williams kicked off a Penguins 8-point surge to trim the deficit to 11 points. Chaminade would close out the half up 40-23.

The Penguins would not succeed in attempting a comeback as the Silverswords pulled away in the last three minutes of the second half with their second 8-point run of the game. The Penguins finished the game shooting 37 percent.
