Mariah Meza scored two goals to lead Dominican women's soccer to its largest win of the season Monday a 4-0 decision over Chaminade at Saint Louis Field.

The Penguins (5-7-2, 3-5-1 PacWest) defense held the Silverswords (3-9-1, 2-7-1 PacWest) to three shots with one on frame, while the offense had 12 shots with eight on goal.
Gabriella Tassano was credited with her second shutout of the season, while Meza now has four goals on the season after her brace.

The momentum shifted shortly before halftime as Chaminade's Ashley Souza picked up her second yellow card to give Dominican a player advantage in the second half. The Penguins offensive took advantage in the second half to score four goals.
Meza opened the scoring in the 54th minute on an assist by junior
Michelle Li, as Meza tapped the ball past the charging Silverswords goalkeeper Brandee Lee. Junior
Bailey Kiser then took a cross from Meza in the middle of the field and put a ball into the netting from 20-yards out to make it 2-0 in the 63rd minute.

Dominican's defense prevented Chaminade from shooting in the first half, and the Silversword's first shot was a wide shot from Nicole Nishiki in the 60th minute. The only Silverswords shot on goal was in the 72nd minute from Caitlin Tatemichi, which was saved by junior goalie
Gabriella Tassano.
