NAMPA, Idaho — The Dominican University of California women's soccer team fell 4-1 at Northwest Nazarene on Monday to fall to 0-2-2 on the young season.

A Crusaders foul in the 28th minute set up a penalty kick for the Penguins. Senior
Stephanie Pawek took the kick and tied the game with her second goal of the season.
Bailey Kiser had her shot in the 37th minute saved and Ramos stopped a shot in the 42nd minute to send the two teams into halftime tied.
NNU wasted no time in the second half desipte two quick shots for the Penguins from Pawek and
Bri Rodrigues. The Crusaders scored in the 50th minute on Hannah Holm's shot that deflected over Ramos. Teenyson Young doubled the lead in the 68th minute and Sarah Jenkins put the match out of reach on a penalty kick in the 75th minute.
Despite the goal differential, the Penguins outshot the Crusaders 15-10.
Dominican will look for its first win when the PacWest schedule begins on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 3:30 p.m. vs. Hawaii Hilo. Live stats and pay-per-view video will be available at
