IRVINE, Calif. – Dominican University of California freshman Natalie Diaz has been named this week's PacWest Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week. The awards is based on games played Nov. 16-22.

The Soquel, California native led Dominican to a pair of wins on the week, averaging 13.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game. She scored a career-high 14 points against Pacific Union. She logged career-highs of nine rebounds, three assists and two steals against San Francisco State.
