AZUSA, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's soccer team's offensive struggles continued on Saturday in a 2-0 loss to Azusa Pacific.
The shutout was the fifth suffered by the Penguins in Pacific West Conference play and the eighth of the season.
Kendra Corsberg had the Penguins' lone shot, which came in the 30th minute. However, Azusa Pacific goalkeeper Zoey Bauman was there for the save.
The Cougars took the lead on Amanda Hardy's goal in the fourth minute from 15 yards out. They added an insurance goal in the 54th minute on Katelyn Rogers' unassisted shot from 10 yards out.

Ashley Lentz had four saves in goal for the Penguins.
The Penguins finish the season on the road in Oakland versus Holy Names next Saturday, Nov. 8. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. as the second match of a men's and women's PacWest doubleheader.
