SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California men's and women's soccer teams will hold "Kick Out Breast Cancer Day" on Saturday, Oct. 11 when Dominican hosts Fresno Pacific in Pacific West Conference Play. The men begin at 1 p.m. and the women are slated for a 3:30 p.m. start time. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the games in support of breast cancer research.
The men's team will have a pregame ceremony honoring those who have been directly affected by breast cancer. The team will be wearing pink jerseys, which will be auctioned off during the match, with bidding taking place until the 10-minute mark in regulation. All proceeds go to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
