Box Score SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's volleyball team got a season-high 22 kills from senior
Jessica Jones and the Penguins topped Academy of Art University 3-1 (25-12, 25-19, 27-29, 25-15) to sweep the two-match season series.
The Penguins (11-18/8-11) jumped out to an 8-1 lead and used a pair of four-point runs to take set one easily. Set two was tied at 17-17 when Dominican jumped ahead, 21-17, on kills from
Hannah Stocking-Siagkris,
Megan Callen, and
Jessica Jones, punctuated by an ace by Stocking-Siagkris.
Dominican fell behind the Urban Knights (11-17/7-13) in set three, 24-20, before tying the match at 24-24 on four consecutive points — two ART U errors and a pair of Jones kills. The Urban Knights scored four of the next five points though to take set three.
Dominican stormed back in set four. Tied 4-4, the Penguins rattled off eight consecutive points as part of a 14-1 run en route to the set four victory.

Kelsey Lardner dished out 52 assists, two shy of her career-high. Sophomore
Amanda Wasko add 15 kills and senior
Hannah Stocking-Siagkris added 11 in the victory.

Emily Papale led the Urban Knights with 15 kills.
