Men's soccer falls in another one-goal decision at UH Hilo

Box Score HILO, Hawai'i — Make that six games decided by a goal for the Dominican University of California men's soccer team, in addition to a pair of ties. It was a tough note for the Penguins to end their four-game Pacific West Conerence road trip on, as the Dominican men dropped a 1-0 decision at UH Hilo on Saturday.

The Vulcans' David Robinson scored unassisted in the 62nd minute to break a scoreless game.

Dominican goakeeper Patrick Rabbitt made four saves but took the loss.

The victory snapped a six-match scoreless streak for the Vulcans (4-6-1/2-5-1), who passed the Penguins (4-9-2/2-6-1) in the standings with Saturday's decision.

After going just 1-3 on the road trip, Dominican returns home for its last remaining home games of the season on Thursday, Oct. 24 vs. California Baptist and Saturday, Oct. 26 vs. Azusa Pacific, which is also Senior Day. The regular season concludes on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Notre Dame de Namur.
