Kolby Mitnick's pair of goals lifted the Dominican University of California men's soccer team to victory over Chaminade University on Monday in Pacific West Conference action.
Mitnick's first goal came in the 35th minute. He received the ball on the left side of the field, then dribbled through a pair of defenders. His first shot was blocked and the rebound fell to him. He got by yet another defender and finihsed in the bottom left corner of the goal.

Swap Mushiana in the middle of the field. From there, Mushiana played Mitnick, who beat a defender and took to the rigth of the six yard box. From there, he struck the ball past the goalkeeper to the far post.
Patrick Rabbitt rebounded nicely from a couple of tough outings. The sophomore keeper repelled all 14 shots that came his way on Monday. The 14 shots saved were a career-high for Rabbitt, who also earned his second shutout of the season.
"It was a great team effort today. The boys responded well after a tough loss in the final minutes on Saturday," said Head Coach
Phil Billeci-Gard, referring to the Penguins' 2-1 loss at BYU-Hawaii. "It's never easy to come to Hawai'i and get results. I'm proud of the commitment that the boys showed today."
Dominican heads to Kaneohe to face Hawai'i Pacific University on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Ahterton Field. Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m. HST following the women's game at 12:30 p.m. HST.
