SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – First place is up for grabs when California Baptist travels to San Rafael, Calif., to face Dominican University of California on Saturday, Jan. 7 in the PacWest Game of the Week.
Each week during the men's basketball season, the PacWest will spotlight a game that will be broadcast live over the Internet. The Lancers and Penguins will square off at 7:30 p.m. (PST).

California Baptist is currently 9-1 on the season with a 3-0 PacWest mark and has reeled off seven straight victories.
The Penguins are just 3-10 on the 2011-12 campaign but have pulled off a pair of victories over Dixie State and Grand Canyon this week to start 2-0 in conference play.
The Lancers are ranked first in scoring margin (+5.7), shooting (48.0%), three-point field goal defense (28.8%), and rebounding margin (+5.0), while the Penguins top the conference in steals per game (9.1).
CBU junior center Luke Evans (Oceanside, CA/El Camino) is leading the team in scoring and rebounding, posting 14.9 points and 7.6 boards per contest.
Senior forward Justus Von Wright (Arcadia, CA/Van Nuys) is contributing 13.1 points per outing.
Dominican is led by junior center
