Final Basketball Games of 2009-2010 to be Broadcast Live on B2 Networks

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — Dominican University of California will broadcast the final women's and men's basketball games of the 2009-10 season, Dominican's first in the NCAA Division II Pacific West Conference, on B2 Networks on Saturday, March 6. The Lady Penguins will face Chaminade University at 5:30 p.m. PST and the men are scheduled to begin their part of the doubleheader at 7:30 p.m. PST.

Audio will be provided by radio.dominican.edu and its play-by-play team of Stuart Horne and Josh Johnson.

The PacWest is the geographically largest Division II conference, stretching from four schools on the Hawaiian Islands – Chaminade, BYU-Hawaii, Hawai'i Pacific University, and the University of Hawai'i at Hilo – to Dominican, Academy of Art University, and Notre Dame de Namur University in the San Francisco Bay Area, and Dixie State College in Utah and Grand Canyon University in Arizona.

“It is exciting for our company to give all PacWest fans, family, and alumni an opportunity to follow their teams on a game by game basis,” stated Bruce LeVine, B2 Networks Senior Vice President of Sports Programming.

Dominican plans to expand home broadcasts to the majority of home women's volleyball and women's and men's basketball games in 2010 and 2011.

All events will be available through www.dominicanathletics.com, the PacWest website at www.pacificwestsports.org, or on B2's website at www.b2tv.com. Fans wanting to watch PacWest events via B2 Networks will need a high-speed Internet connection and a current version of Microsoft Windows Media Player. Games will be sold on an individual basis for $7 (US).
