SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California men's basketball team earned its second straight win and season sweep with a 52-47 victory over Bay Area rival Notre Dame de Namur University on Saturday night in Pacific West Conference play.
Dominican (9-14/6-6) took a 3-0 lead on a commanding dunk by
Alex Ward from

Fox Mulholland's three pointer pushed the Penguin lead to nine with 9:30 to go, seconds after leading scorer
Austin Bryan went down with an apparent injury. A 7-2 Argonaut run cut the Dominican lead to 24-20 at halftime.
Chris Silzer started the second half with a three pointer that put the Argonauts within a point but a pair of
Killian Larson free throws and two consecutive Lewis baskets extended the lead back to seven. The Penguins extended the lead back to nine but NDNU clawed back again, cutting the lead to as little as three with under a minute to play. A pair of
Alastair Flack free throws with half a minute to play made it a five point game and helped Dominican hold on for the victory.

Bennie Murray and Silzer each finished their night with 10 points apiece to lead the Argonauts. Murray led all player with nine rebounds.
