SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's basketball team will be hosting The Penguins, who finish in third place with an 11-5 Cal Pac record, are also the no. 3 seed in the Cal Pac Tournament. This year's first and second round games are being played at the higher seed's home site, which means Dominican will be hosting either no. 6 Menlo College or no. 7 Pacific Union College on Wednesday night.

Fans are encouraged to wear black in the "Penguin Blackout" promotion to show Dominican unity and pride.  The men tip off at 7:30 p.m. with the women's basketball playoff preceding at 5:30 p.m.
The winner of Wednesday night's game will advance to the Cal Pac semifinals on Friday, February 27 at 3:00 p.m. The Cal Pac Tournament championship will be held on Saturday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m. Both the Cal Pac semifinals and finals are being hosted by CSU East Bay in Hawyard.
