SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Shane Huiberts did it all for the Dominican University of California men's soccer team on Saturday, netting two goals en route to a 2-0 victory over Academy of Art University in Pacific West Conference play.

With the victory, Dominican improves to 6-7-1/3-4-1 while the Urban Knights fall to 4-10-1/1-8.

Huiberts has played well against AAU this season - when the Penguins defeated AAU at home on September 21 1-0 it was Huiberts with the game winner.

Both teams went scoreless in the first half of their rematch but a Huiberts goal from Thomas Clinch in the 56 minute put Dominican ahead 1-0.

Pedro Guevara teamed up with Huiberts in the 75 minute to add the insurance goal and seal the victory for Dominican.

Matthew Carlson posted two saves in his third shutout of the season for Dominican.

The Penguins now fly to Hawaii, where beginning Tuesday they will face three PacWest opponents in a span of five days.
