SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California men's soccer team lost their second game in as many days, falling 2-1 in Pacific West Conference play to the University of Hawai'i at Hilo in overtime on Wednesday afternoon.
The Vulcans (6-7-0/5-2-0) scored first in the 24th minute when Vincent Muscarella was assisted by Timothy Glick and George Ichimaru.
The Penguins (5-7-1/2-4-1) answered the call in the 59th minute when
Pedro Guevara found
Rafael Garcia for his third goal of the season to tie the match at 1-1.
In overtime, Glick's deflected pass found Ichimaru, who netted the game-winner for UHH.
The Penguins travel to San Francisco's Kezar Stadium to face Academy of Art University on Oct. 17. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. with a women's game preceeding at 1:00 p.m.
