Dr. David H. Goltz has been a member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons since 2002. He specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine and practices at California Orthopedics & Spine in Larkspur, Calif.

Dr. Goltz not only cares for athletes as patients, but serves as team physician for Dominican University of California's Department of Athletics and provides on-field medical care for the US Ski team at international competitions.

Additionally, Dr. Goltz has a special interest and fellowship training in the care of athletic injuries. He believes in maximizing non-operative treatment whenever possible with an early return to full activity.

If surgery becomes necessary, Dr. Goltz relies on proven, state-of-the-art surgical techniques, and employs the same advanced procedures and rehabilitation for professional and recreational athletes alike.
