Mu-Yun Chang

Chang joined the Dominican volleyball program in 2016 and served as the assistant volleyball coach until December 2018. Her primary duties include assisting with setter and middle hitter development, recruiting, and operations.

Prior to Dominican, Chang was the varsity head coach at Novato High School, where she led the 2012 team to the first section playoff win in school history. Since 2008, Chang has been involved with the Marin Juniors Volleyball Club, where she guided teams to top-three finishes at the NCVA Far Westerns National Qualifier in 2014 and 2016, and a top 10 finish at the 2011 Las Vegas SoCal Invitational. In addition to her head coaching responsibilities, Chang managed operations for the club and was a lead coach for skills training.

She holds several certifications, including USA Volleyball - Northern California High Performance, Gold Medal Squared (levels I & II), Positive Coaching Alliance, USA Volleyball CAP I, IMPACT, and NFHS.

Chang graduated from the University of Oregon, School of Architecture. As a native of Taiwan, Chang grew up playing basketball and at the age of 16, made the switch to volleyball. She loves the sport and is a life-long student of the game, dedicating most of her free time to coach the sport.
