Conan True joins Dominican University of California after playing three seasons at Holy Names University. True earned Freshman of the Year in his introductory season at Holy Names, playing outside hitter during his three year tenure. 

True earned a business management degree from Holy Names in 2018 after playing high school volleyball for Moreau Catholic High School. True was named a Second Team All-League Outside Hitter in 2012 while at MCHS before earning First Team All-League Outside Hitter accolades in 2013 and 2014, with all four of his high school years being played on the varsity squad.

Born in Castro Valley, true now resides in Fremont. He enjoys watching movies and sports, is an avid Golden State Warriors fan, and enjoys playing volleyball, basketball and disc golf. He also spends his free time at the beach and hiking.
