Amanda Hubbard was hired in October 2020 as a volunteer assistant coach on the women’s volleyball team.
Prior to Dominican University, Hubbard played volleyball at Long Island University-Brooklyn (LIU) from 2016-2020. During her time as a Shark, Hubbard received a plethora of accolades, including:
Northeast Conference (NEC) Scholar Athlete Recognition Award for Fall sports (2016-2019), NEC Championship (2019) All-Tournament Team award winner, Northeast Conference Champion (2016 & 2017), Team MVP (2016 & 2019), NEC Rookie of the Week (4x), NEC All-Tournament Team (2016) and NEC Second Team All-Tournament team (2016 & 2019). Hubbard was also a team captain during her time at LIU.
In addition to LIU, Hubbard also played at City Beach Volleyball Club from 2013-2016.
Hubbard has held a number of positions in the volleyball coaching realm, first as a camp coach with Saint Francis High School in 2016 and Crocker Middle School in 2017. Rounding out her coaching experience, Hubbard saw time at City Beach Volleyball Club in Santa Clara, California, in 2018.
Academically, Hubbard graduated from LIU in 2020 with a degree in Health Science while double minoring in sports science and psychology. Hubbard now resides in Burlingame, California.
