Biography

2025-26: Fassett recorded the strongest cross country season of her career, placing sixth at the Jessup XC Invite and lowering her 6K personal best to 25:35.2 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational. She finished 80th at the PacWest Championships as Dominican tied for 11th with 311 points. During the spring, Fassett set school records in two distinct disciplines at the PacWest Championships, finishing 16th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 13:04.07 and clearing 2.80 meters for 12th in the pole vault. She also moved to second in program history in the 2-mile at 13:06.86, third in the 3,000 at 12:26.69 and ninth in the 1,500 at 5:26.56. Fassett earned Academic All-PacWest honors in cross country and track and field.

2024-25: Fassett's fall illustrated significant progression as she cut more than three minutes from her opening 6K and finished 82nd at the PacWest Championships in 27:20.7. She added the steeplechase and pole vault during the spring, reaching 2.72 meters in the vault at the West Coast Relays and finishing ninth in the steeplechase at the Johnny Mathis Invitational with a season-best 13:32.94. Fassett also ran 13:18.02 in the 2-mile and 12:50.32 in the 3,000, laying the foundation for her record-setting senior season.
