Jody Lingafeldt

Jody Lingafeldt joined the Dominican coaching staff for the 2017 season. Lingafeldt comes to Dominican after spending the previous three seasons as an assistant coach at Sonoma State University where she helped the Seawolves to their first-ever CCAA title, which was also the first CCAA title for any women's team at Sonoma State since joining the conference in 1998-99. The Seawolves finished the year going 14-3-3 overall with a perfect 10-0-2 mark in CCAA action. Lingafeldt also helped SSU to its first NCAA tournament win since 1998 with a 2-0 victory over Point Loma in the First Round of the NCAA's in Azusa. In 2016, the Seawolves wrapped up their season second in CCAA Conference play and went back to the NCAA tournament. While on staff at Sonoma State, Lingafeldt's main responsibility was recruiting for the Seawolves.  
Prior to her most recent stint at SSU, Lingafeldt served as an assistant coach for Sonoma State from 1998-2000. Lingafeldt was part of the staff on the 1998 team NCAA national runner-up. The 1998 team was the last Sonoma State women's soccer team to play in the NCAA Final Four and is inducted into the Hall of Fame at Sonoma State University.
An experienced coach, Lingafeldt's coaching resume also includes helping lead Santa Rosa JC to the state finals in 2000, 15 years club experience with local youth soccer clubs Santa Rosa United and Marin FC, a staff coach for the Cal North Olympic Development program for five years and eight year's of staff coach experience with Coerver Soccer.
As a player, Lingafeldt transferred from Sacramento State and finished her playing career at Sonoma State in 1997 earning a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. She is currently working on her Master's Degree in Coaching and Leadership from Concordia University, Irvine and is slated to receive her MA in August of 2017.
 
She has earned her NSCAA Premier and Director of Coaching diplomas and her USSF C License.
