Biography
2025-26: Bueno returned to the cross country lineup and produced the strongest fall of her career. She finished second at the Jessup XC Invite, placed 11th at the Pacific Invitational with a 6K personal best of 23:45.9 and led Dominican at the PacWest Championships with a 48th-place finish. The Penguins tied for 11th with 311 points. Bueno earned Academic All-PacWest recognition in cross country.

2024-25: Bueno delivered a record-setting track season, lowering the school standards in both the 800 and 1,500 meters at the PacWest Championships. She finished 11th in the 800 in 2:18.35 and 15th in the 1,500 in 4:47.63, marks that rank second and first, respectively, in Dominican history. She also joined LaNicia Ellis, Sarah Chavez and Courtney Santos on the school-record distance medley relay that ran 12:53.91 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic and helped the 4x400 relay post the program's second-fastest time, 4:08.71, at the conference meet. Bueno earned Academic All-PacWest honors in both cross country and track and field.
2023-24: Bueno competed once during the cross country season, finishing the San Francisco State Invitational 6K in 26:01.2. She then made significant gains on the track, lowering her 800-meter best to 2:25.21 and finishing 16th in the event at the PacWest Championships. Bueno also ran 1:06.03 in the 400 and contributed to relay performances that now rank second in the distance medley relay at 13:39.26 and third in the 4x400 at 4:13.86. She received Academic All-PacWest recognition in both sports.

2022: Named Scholar Athlete of the Year for the women's cross country, track & field and soccer programs for the highest team GPA...Led Dominican at the PacWest Cross Country Championships with a 62nd place finish and a personal best time of 26:22.6 in the 6k...Ran as part of Dominican 4x400m relay team setting a new program record of 4:15.10 at the PacWest Championships...Finished with a personal best of 2:35.98 in the 800m at the Chabot Opener and another best with a throw of 73' 2" in javelin on February 25 for track & field...Ran the 1500m in 5:29.58 at the FPU Sunbird Invitational February 18.
