Biography
2012-13: Named to PacWest Academic All-Conference Team… Inducted into National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma… Named Dominican Women's Basketball Most Outstanding Player.
2011-12: As a junior played in 24 games, starting the final 17. Averaged 23.5 minutes and 4.2 points per game. Second on the team in assists per game (1.9). Scored career-high 19 points (8-of-10 shooting from the free throw line) with career-high six assists at BYU-Hawaii on Feb. 16. Played a season-high 33 minutes and made three 3-point shots in a 16-point effort in a win at Chaminade on Feb. 13. Had three steals vs. BYU Hawaii on Jan. 23. Had six rebounds in a game twice. Named to 2011-12 Pacific West Conference All-Academic Team.
2010-11: Played in 26 games, starting 21. Averaged 18.9 minutes and 3.7 points per game. Led team in field goal percentage (.485) and 3-point shooting percentage (.537). Scored a season-high 15 points vs. Chaminade Feb. 19. Named winner of "Coach's Award" in post-season awards ceremony.
2009-10: Played in 21 games. Averaged 7.7 minutes and 0.8 points per game. Fifth on the team in free throw percentage (.667).
Personal: Daughter of Antoinette and Quintin Carnes. Sister, Lisa. Graduated Magna Cum Laude 2009. Played what she thought was her final basketball game as a senior for Moreau Catholic Mariners in North Coast Section playoff game on March 6, 2009. Decided eight months later to walk-on the Dominican women's team and played her way into the starting lineup in 2010.
