Greg Rahn joined the Dominican women’s basketball team as its associate head coach in September of 2021.
Rahn brings a wealth of experience to the program coming to the Penguins after spending seven seasons as the head men’s basketball coach for Pacific Union College of the NAIA. Rahn led the Pioneers to their first ever national tournament appearance in 2016-17 with an 18-7 record including winning the Cal Pac Tournament Championship. The championship was also a first for the Pioneers. Rahn left PUC as the program’s winningest coach and helped eight players receive all-conference first team honors. He also served as the Pioneer’s compliance officer for six years.
Rahn has also served as a youth camp coach and skills trainer for the Golden State Warriors with players such as Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Jordan Bell, Damian Jones, Shaun Livingston and Zaza Pachulia. He also served as the head coach and director for the Bay Valley Generals in the AAU for 10 seasons and was an assistant varsity coach for Brea-Olinda High School for two seasons.
Rahn earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Cal State Fullerton and is currently working on a Master’s of Science in sports administration from Arkansas State University.
