2026: Ruiz's play during the season earned one PacWest Player of the Week recognition...She earned Academic All-PacWest honors...Ruiz made 29 starts in 34 appearances and batted .241 with 21 hits, 10 runs and 12 RBIs...Ten of her hits went for extra bases, including eight doubles and two home runs, and she added five stolen bases...After shifting to the outfield, she posted a .961 fielding percentage with 68 putouts and five assists.

2025: Ruiz earned Academic All-PacWest honors...As a freshman, Ruiz appeared in 45 games and started 33 while helping Dominican establish NCAA Division II-era records for overall and conference wins...She finished with 18 hits, four doubles, one home run and 13 RBIs...Ruiz was perfect defensively, converting all 42 chances without an error.
