Biography
2025-26: Dawson led Dominican's cross country lineup with a victory at the Jessup XC Invite, covering four miles in 22:05.5. He later ran an 8K best of 25:55.7 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational and placed 29th at the PacWest Championships as the Penguins finished seventh with 202 points. Dawson carried that momentum into track, posting program No. 2 marks in the 1,500 meters at 3:59.76, the 3,000 at 8:34.50 and the 5,000 at 14:56.00. He also ran 1:59.64 in the 800, the third-fastest time in Dominican history. Dawson placed eighth in the 5,000 at the PacWest Championships to score one of the Penguins' 21 team points and finished the year with a 15:16.29 at the Payton Jordan Invitational. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in both cross country and track and field.

Before Dominican:Â Ran a career best 8K of 25:50.4 at the OVC Championships as a member of the Tennessee Tech program...Participated in three years of cross country for the Golden Eagles.
