2026: Gonzalez Lopez competed in the shot put and discus throughout the spring. He reached a season-best 9.73 meters in the shot put at the Wildcat Invitational and 23.73 meters in the discus at the Kim Duyst Invitational. His best finish came at the Capital Invitational, where he placed fifth in the shot put with a 9.63-meter effort. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in track and field.

2025: Gonzalez Lopez produced the strongest marks of his career to date. He improved his shot put best to 10.19 meters at the Wildcat Invite, moving to fourth in Dominican history, and reached 26.35 meters in the discus at the Chabot Finale. He represented the Penguins at the PacWest Championships and finished 17th in the shot put. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in track and field.

2024: Gonzalez Lopez showed consistent improvement throughout the season. He raised his shot put best to 9.35 meters at the Chuck Buettner Twilight and recorded a season-best 21.59 meters in the discus at the Dominican Invitational. His early-season third-place discus finish at Dominican highlighted his continued development in the event. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in track and field.

2023: Competed in the shot put and discus throw...Set a personal best throw of 25.27m in the discus at the Johnny Mathis Track & Field Meet...Set a new personal record with a throw of 8.82m in the shot put at the Kim Duyst Invitational.

Before Dominican: Received Principal's Pin...Named to the Dean's List.
