2025-26: Wood-Piña competed in two cross country meets, recording a 30:09.5 over 8K at the Kim Duyst Twilight. During the spring, he improved his javelin best to 42.27 meters at the Fresno Pacific Sunbird Invitational, the second-best mark in program history. He later finished 15th at the PacWest Championships with a throw of 36.15 meters and added season bests of 2:08.69 in the 800 and 1:00.28 in the 400. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in both cross country and track and field.

2024-25: Wood-Piña completed six cross country races, lowering his 8K best to 29:04.4 at the Kim Duyst Twilight and finishing 65th at the PacWest Championships. In track and field, he ran 2:06.52 in the 800 meters and 56.92 in the 400, marks that ranked 10th in program history at the end of 2026. He also extended his javelin best to 40.33 meters and ran on Dominican's 11:25.20 distance medley relay, the second-fastest in school history.
