2025-26: Machado completed four cross country races and started a fifth, posting an 8K season best of 29:49.5 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational. He finished 62nd at the PacWest Championships as Dominican placed seventh with 202 points. In track and field, Machado improved his javelin best to 39.69 meters at the PacWest Championships, placing 12th and moving to third on Dominican's all-time list. He also competed in the 800 meters and 4x400-meter relay. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in both cross country and track and field.

2024-25: Machado raced six times in cross country, placing seventh at the Jessup Cross Country Invitational and running a season-best 30:05.0 at the PacWest Championships. During the spring, he concentrated on the javelin and raised his season best to 33.58 meters at the Fresno Pacific Sunbird Invitational. He added another top-10 finish at the Chabot Finale, placing eighth with a throw of 33.50 meters. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in both cross country and track and field.

2023-24: Machado completed a full cross country season and advanced to the NCAA Division II West Region Championships, where he finished the 10K course in 38:25.1. His best 8K came at the San Francisco State Invitational in 29:13.5, and he placed 14th at the Stump Invitational before finishing 64th at the PacWest Championships. In track and field, Machado ran on Dominican's school-record distance medley relay, which posted a 10:57.77 at the Chabot Opener. He also recorded season bests of 2:10.14 in the 800 and 29.56 meters in the javelin.
