2025-26: Sanchez continued to develop in both throwing events, reaching a season-best 10.67 meters in the shot put and a personal-best 29.43 meters in the discus at the Capital Invitational. The discus mark moved him to fourth in program history. He placed fourth in the shot put and sixth in the discus at Capital and surpassed 10 meters in the shot put at each of his final four meets. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in track and field.

2024-25: Sanchez produced his career-best shot put at the PacWest Championships, reaching 11.40 meters to move to second on Dominican's all-time list. He finished 14th at the conference meet after placing sixth at the Johnny Mathis Invitational with an 11.10-meter effort. Sanchez also established a discus best of 28.12 meters at the Kim Duyst Invitational.
