2025-26: Hurley opened his collegiate cross country career with a 28:23.6 at the Kim Duyst Twilight and placed fourth at the Jessup XC Invite. He finished 55th at the PacWest Championships as Dominican placed seventh with 202 points. In the spring, Hurley ran 2:00.39 in the 800 meters at the Fresno Pacific Sunbird Invitational, the fourth-fastest time in program history, and added a 52.19 in the 400 at the Wildcat Invitational to rank sixth all time. He also contributed to several 4x400-meter relay lineups. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in both cross country and track and field.

Before Dominican: Participated in four years of varsity cross country being named MVP of his team...Was the top scorer on his varsity soccer team as a senior...Participated in track and field as a junior and senior earning MVP honors.

Personal: Son of Priscilla Whiteaker and Mason Hurley.
