Lubamersky joined the track and field staff in the fall of 2021 as the throws coach. He is a native of Marin County, born in San Francisco, attended the College of Marin, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography at the University Of California at Berkeley. In 1990, he earned a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from San Francisco State University. He has taught and coached the past 23 years in the San Rafael City High School District. He has coached numerous North Coast Sections throws qualifiers and holds a USA Track and Field Tier II Throws Certificate.Â
Lubamersky lives in San Rafael with his wife and three sons where he formally served as the San Rafael Planning Commisioner. In the off season he enjoys golf and officiating Football.Â
