2025-26: Alves progressed throughout the spring and delivered his best marks at the PacWest Championships. He set the school shot put record at 12.42 meters, raised the discus standard to 40.91 meters and extended the hammer record to 44.34 meters. Alves finished 13th in the shot put, 10th in the discus and 11th in the hammer at the conference meet. Earlier in the season, he placed fourth in the hammer at the Johnny Mathis Track and Field Meet and continued building consistency across all three throwing events. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in track and field.
