2025-26: Aguirre earned a return trip to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships and improved one place from the previous year, finishing sixth in the 110-meter hurdles in 14.05 seconds after advancing from the preliminary round in 14.00. He entered the national meet after running a season-best 13.85 to win the Fresno State Invitational. At the PacWest Championships, Aguirre finished second in the hurdles in 14.08 and joined the fifth-place 4x400-meter relay that clocked 3:19.12, the second-fastest time in program history. His runner-up finish supplied eight individual points, while the relay added four more as Dominican placed seventh with 21 points. He also won the hurdles at the Capital Invitational, Chico Invitational and Fresno State Invitational on the way to his second All-America honor.

2024-25: Aguirre captured his second consecutive PacWest title in the 110-meter hurdles, winning the final in 13.64 seconds. He then lowered the school record to 13.58 in the preliminary round of the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships before placing seventh in the final to earn the first All-America honor of his career. Aguirre also ran on Dominican's school-record 4x400-meter relay, which finished fourth at the PacWest Championships in 3:18.05. His season included hurdle victories at Stanford, the West Coast Relays, the Hornet Invitational and the Wildcat Invite, along with a wind-aided 10.87 in the 100 meters and a wind-aided 21.73 in the 200 that rank among the fastest marks in program history.

2023-24: Aguirre established himself as the conference's top short hurdler by winning the PacWest championship in 14.32 seconds. He posted a legal season best of 14.09 while winning the Brutus Hamilton Invitational and also earned victories at the Chabot Opener, Aggie Open and Kim Duyst Invitational. At the Aggie Open, he added a school-record 54.80 in the 400-meter hurdles. Aguirre's first season in the update period provided the foundation for the national success that followed.
