Before Dominican: Scholar-athlete at Upper Iowa University, earned Coaches Award… Two-time recipient of Brian Jimenez Sportsmanship Award recipient… Four-year prep starter and scholar-athlete… Played in the all CIF All-Star game… First team All-League, State Spirit of the Sport winner… two-year captain… Three years of high school career were played with Dominican teammate Tanner Herrero… Started every game for Pateadores Inland Empire team, where he earned most inspirational award.
