2012: Played in 14 games, starting nine, as a defender as a junior. Had solid outing in second career start in season-opening 4-0 win over Cal State East Bay on Sept. 1, Dominican's first regular-season game on its new soccer field. Strong performance in 2-0 win over Dixie State on Sept. 17 helping Penguins to 4-1 record, their best start since 1996. Inducted into National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma… for third consecutive time.

2011: Played in four games as a sophomore… Named to PacWest Academic All-Conference Team for second teim.

2010: Played in 14 games, starting one, as a freshman. Had one goal for two points.Scored first career goal in 2-2 overtime tie at Chaminade on Oct. 18. Eighth on team in shots-on-goal percentage (.444)… Named to PacWest Academic All-Conference Team.

Before Dominican:  Recorded  53 goals and 28 assists as a junior and senior at Arcata High. He notched a hat trick in seven of those games. After finishing his junior year, Rode was honored as All-Big 4 Conference First Team and won both league MVP and team MVP in helping the Tigers advance to second round of NCS Sections. He was team captain his senior year when Arcata won the Big 4 title and earned another NCS playoff berth. He was named to the All-League First Team once again and the Big 4’s Co-MVP.

Personal: Son of Terry and Michael Rode… Brothers, Dylan, Josh, and Forrest. Sister, Grace.
