2013: Earned Dominican Men's Soccer Coaches Award for second time.

2012: Played in 18 games, starting 16, as a junior. Second on team in total minutes played (1,478). Named team co-captain… Third on team in goals (3) and points (11) and tied for second in assists (5)… Tied for ninth in PacWest in assists per game (0.33)…  Dominican is undefeated (6-0-1) in games he has recorded an assist in his three-year career and 11-3-3 in games he has had a goal or assist… Scored goal in season-opening 4-0 win vs. Cal State East Bay on Sept. 1, Dominican's first regular-season games in its new soccer field. Scored his second goal in 2-0 win vs. Dixie State on Sept. 17… Had two assists in 5-2 win at Chaminade on Oct. 26…  Earned Dominican Men's Soccer Coaches Award… Named to PacWest Academic All-Conference Team.

2011: Named Second Team All-PacWest as a sophomore… Team co-captain… Played and started in 17 games… Led team in goals scored (5), total points (13), shots (55) and shots on goal (23)… Scored three game-winning goals: vs. Chaminade on Sept. 29, vs. Cal Maritime on Oct. 3 and at Academy of Art University on Nov. 11 when he scored both goals in a 2-0 upset win… Named to the Pioneer Classic Men’s Soccer All-Tournament Team as a forward on Sept. 3… Named to PacWest Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll twice: Sept. 26-Oct. 2 after scoring game-winning goal in 1-0 victory over Chaminade and again Oct. 31-Nov. 6 after scoring two goals at ART U… Missed one game (at Grand Canyon on Oct. 10) with injury… Named Dominican Men's Soccer Most Outstanding Player.

2010: Played in 13 games, starting 12, as a freshman. Missed four games with ankle injury. Had five goals and one assist for 11 points. Second on the team in goals, total points, shots (27) and shots-on-goal percentage (.741). Scored both Dominican goals in a 3-2 loss to Dixie State on Nov. 4. Scored game-tying goal in a 2-1 overtime loss at Hawai'i Pacific on Oct. 23. Scored first career goal in 2-2 overtime tie at Chaminade on Oct. 18. Named team's `Newcomer of the Year.'

Before Dominican: Named league MVP his junior and senior years at Windsor High, directing the Jaguars to a 31-3-8 record. He led the team with 43 goals in that span and helped Windsor win back-to-back Sonoma County League titles. His Santa Rosa United club team was US Club champion 2006-08, National finalist in 2007, State Cup finalists in 2007-08 and Presidents Day Tournament champions in 2009 as the Boca Juniors Under-19 team in Phoenix.

Personal: Parents Alejandra and Leobardo Mendez… Sisters, Eleanna (an NAIA All-American soccer player at Dominican in 2008) and Julianna, who is on the current womens' soccer team… Participated in Dominican's Alternative Spring Break Program in 2013 by serving as cabin leader at Caritas Creek, an environmental education program for sixth graders founded in 1975… Member of Penguin Student-Athlete Advisory Committee 2011-12.
