2012: Named to PacWest Academic All-Conference Team… Named Dominican Athletics 2012–13 Senior Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year… Inducted into National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma… Named to PacWest Fantastic 15 for week of Oct. 29… Earned the win in his final game as a Penguin, a 2-1 victory vs. Point Loma on Nov. 3.

2011: Started first eight games in goal,  played in nine.  Was the only upperclassman in Dominican's starting lineup vs. Cal State East Bay on Sept. 3. Made a career-high eight saves vs. Hawai'i Pacific on Sept. 18. Recorded 34 saves and 2.90 goals against average. Named Top Junior Scholar Student-Athlete of the Year at Dominican for 2011-12 season… Named to PacWest Academic All-Conference Team.

2010: Played in three games, starting one as goalkeeper. Had six saves in two games in goal… Named to PacWest Academic All-Conference Team.

2009: Played in 11 games. Started one game in the field and relieved one game as goalkeeper. Received Coach's Award at post-season athletics banquet.

Personal: Son of Sherrie and Ronnie Gibson. Parents worked as law enforcement rangers at Grand Canyon National Park before moving to Monterey. Casey attended tiny Grand Canyon School, which has a student population of about 300 in grades K-12. Used to mingle with tourists and eat ice cream on the rim of the Grand Canyon. Participated in 2012 West Region NCAA Career in Sports Forum at Academy of Art University in April. Spent summer of 2012 working internship with MLS' San Jose Earthquakes.
