2012: As a freshman played in five games, starting one. Had one shot in win at Lindenwood on March 8. Recorded a ground ball in win vs. Lindenwood on March 27. Made Dominican debut as a starter in win vs. Colorado Mesa on March 30. Named to Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-Academic team.

Personal: Son of Margaret and Chris Nickel. Brother, Graham. Competed in high school for the Mission Viejo Diablos.
