2014: Named to Capital One Academic All-District Men's At-Large First Team for second year in a row… Named First Team All-WILA as defensive midfielder/faceoff specialist for second year in a row… Named WILA Defensive Player of the Week for weeks of March 24-30 and April 21-27… Team co-captain… Named Dominican Athletics Junior Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

2013: Named to Capital One Academic All-District Men's At-Large First Team… Named First Team All-WILA as defensive midfielder/faceoff specialist.

2012: As a freshman played in 13 games, starting 10… Was 10th in nation in NCAA Division II in faceoff percentage won (.588). Was 23rd in nation in ground balls per game (4.54)… Named Second Team All-WILA… Won all seven faceoffs coming off the bench vs. NYIT on Feb. 19… Won season-high 19 of 22 faceoffs in win vs. Colorado Mesa on March 30 when he had a team-best single-game season-high 12 ground balls… Led team in ground balls (59)… Recorded assists in win vs. NDNU on Feb. 25 and in win vs. Lindenwood on March 27 when he also had two shots on goal… Named to WILA All-Academic team.

Personal: Son of Leslie and Mike Acevedo. Competed in high school for Mater Dei Monarchs.
