For nearly 20 years, Dean has been involved with coaching at all levels in Pennsylvania, Texas, and California. A former high school All-American in West Chester, Pa., Dean played lacrosse collegiately at Villanova University.
During the 2011 and 2012 seasons Dean was an assistant coach at Marin Academy, helping the Wildcats to a record of 31-8. In 2011, Marin Academy earned a berth in the North Coast Section Division 2 Semi-Finals. In 2012, the Wildcats won the NCS Division 2 Championship. After the 2011 season, Dean was named Assistant Coach of the Year by the Northern California Chapter of US Lacrosse.
Dean and his wife, Stephie, have two children, Sydney and Owen, and live in Marin County.
