Biography

2025-26: Berggren remained part of Dominican’s rotation as a junior, making five lineup appearances, one individual start and a match-play appearance. His best stroke-play result came at the Dominican Spring Invitational, where a final-round 74 lifted him to 31st. He also halved his JD Cup singles match in the Penguins’ 4-3 victory over Jessup. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors for the third consecutive year.

2024-25: As a sophomore, Berggren was a regular member of the five-player lineup and competed in seven events, including the PacWest Championships. He closed the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational with a 73 to tie for 46th and produced his best postseason finish by tying for 28th at the conference championship. His season-low 71 came in the final round of the Bishop Invitational. Berggren also received Academic All-PacWest recognition for the second straight season.

2023-24: Berggren began his Dominican career with five appearances split between lineup and individual competition. He was part of the fifth-place lineup at the Sonoma State Fall Invitational and later tied for 38th as an individual at the Nighthawk Invitational. A final-round 75 at the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational was his lowest score of the spring. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors following his freshman campaign.
