2025-26: Salmeron Romo competed in five cross country meets, lowering his 8K best to 30:37.9 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational. He started the PacWest Championships as Dominican finished seventh with 202 points but did not complete the race. During the spring, he competed in the 1,500 meters and ran a season-best 4:40.87 at the Johnny Mathis Track and Field Meet. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in both cross country and track and field.

2024-25: Salmeron Romo completed five cross country races and ran a season-best 30:51.6 at the PacWest Championships. His strongest progress came during track and field, where he set the school record in the two-mile run at 11:07.36 during the Mike Fanelli Track Classic. He moved to second in program history in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with an 11:11.02 at the PacWest Championships and to 10th in the 3,000 with a 10:14.78 at the Fresno Pacific Sunbird Invitational. Salmeron Romo also ran on Dominican's 11:25.20 distance medley relay, the second-fastest in program history. He earned Academic All-PacWest honors in both cross country and track and field.

Before Dominican: Won the Student Athlete Award for GPA in 2023 and 2024 at San Jose City College.
