2025-26: Ortiz earned Academic All-PacWest recognition...Ortiz averaged 3.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in a reserve role, shooting 40.9% from the field...He made his first start in a 78-72 win at Menlo on Dec. 21...Ortiz scored a season-high seven points against Pacific Union on Nov. 29 and again in a victory at Westmont on Feb. 21, grabbed five rebounds at Azusa Pacific on Jan. 31 and blocked two shots against Point Loma on Dec. 13.

Personal: Son of Hector and Christie Ortiz...Has one sister, Gabriela and one brother Daniel who is also on the Dominican basketball team.
