2013: Awarded Dominican Men's Golf Coaches Award… Named team co-captain.

2012: As a sophomore fired 84 in opening round of Cal State East Bay Pioneer Shootout at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club on March 5… Carded an even par 36 on back nine of Poppy Ridge Golf Course en route to two-round total of 75-76 to lead all Penguins golfers in Notre Dame de Namur Invitational on March 12… Recorded an 83 in second round of the Pacific West Conference Championships on the Kings' Course at Waikoloa Beach Resort in Hawaii on April 23… Awarded Dominican Men's Golf Coaches Award.

2011: Finished freshman season by firing three-round total of 288 to place 40th in PacWest Championships at Sunbrooke Golf Club in St. George, Utah. Posted opening round 78 in NDNU Invitational at Poppy Ridge Golf Course on March 15.

2010: Carded opening round 88 in Dominican debut as a freshman in Grand Canyon Fall Invitational on Oct. 5.

Personal: Son of Dana and Glenn Kawaguci. Brother, Alec. Sister, Kelsey. Competed in high school for Los Altos Eagles and Olympic Club. Individual medalist at 2010 SCVAL League Championship. Selected All-SCVAL in 2009-10. Represented California at 2008 Callaway Junior World Golf Championships. Named winner of JGANC Sportsmanship Award in 2008.
