Before Dominican: Played two seasons at Santa Rosa Junior College, where the Bear Cubs won the State Championship in 2013-14… At Montgomery HS, earned All-League and was named Defensive Player of the Year his junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Mother Carol Petersen… Older sister Vanessa and older brother Robert.
