NAMPA, Idaho.- Dominican men's lacrosse traveled to Idaho for a conference showdown with the Nighthawks of Northwest Nazarene University Thursday night.
Calvin Welsh, the freshman out of Irvine led the black and gold offense in this one as he went for a team high three goals pushing his season total to 14.

Cole Soper were everywhere on the field for Dominican as they led the team in ground balls. Garcia scooped up six while winning eight faceoffs while Soper posted four ground balls. Soper, the senior out of Montana, also picked up an assist and a goal against the Nighthawks.
Cole Rutz manned the cage for the Pengs in this one and collected a game high 18 saves. Rutz has now tallied 93 saves on the season.
Dominican will be back in action this Saturday as they take on Westminster at 1 p.m. MST.
