SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – Dominican women's tennis wrapped up their regular season schedule with a Friday afternoon match-up against their rivals from across the bay, the Urban Knights of Academy of Art. The Penguins took three victories in singles play, but that wasn't enough as Academy of Art took the 4-3 victory.

Dominican fell behind early dropping the doubles point, but junior captain Audrey Rafols got them on the board as she defeated her opponent in singles No. 1. Graduate students Carolina Guerrero and Haley Garcia both had back-and-forth duels in their singles match. Guerrero came out victorious in three sets and Garcia outlasted Georgiana Parr in singles No. 6.

The Penguins will look to shake this off as they head to Arizona for the PacWest Championships next week starting April 17^th.
