IRVINE, Calif.- Dominican men's lacrosse wrapped up their SoCal road-trip facing off against the Griffin's of Westminster University in Irvine. The Griffins would end up winning 20-10, but the Penguins were able to get their offense going.
Westminster started the game fast scoring the first three goals.
Caelan Briggs got the Penguins on the board when he found the back of the net for his first of three goals on the day. Junior
Kenny Seiler led the team with three assists including a beautiful pass to Briggs on his first goal.
The Griffin's held a two-point lead as both teams went into the lockers for halftime. Senior
Jason Eide scored the first goal in the second half for the Penguins as he slipped past the Griffin's defense. Eide and
Per-Anders Olters finished the day scoring two goals apiece.
Dominican is back in action March 3
rd when they square off against Lewis University. Â
